Avocado Pudding
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Ingredients:
2 soft avocados (Hass-medium size)
a bit less than 1/2 cup of raw local honey (or coconut palm sugar)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
a couple splashes of balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons organic virgin coconut oil
and a little bit of sea salt-a few cracks of fresh ground salt crystals
Directions:
This is probably the easiest pudding to make because there is no cooking involved.
Just cut in half, remove the seeds&skin and smash the avocados in a bowl with the bowl of a spoon and add the remaining ingredients.
Mix well with a fork or an egg beater.
Refrigerate and cool to your taste, I like it better cold.
Serving suggestion: Goes really well with fresh fruits, such as: nectarines, mangoes, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, grapes, watermelon, etc.
***Qur'an 52:19 and 77:43: A hospitable message from our Generous Sustainer Lord, repeated twice:
“Eat and drink with good cheer as an outcome of what you were wont to do,"
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Kuloo washraboo haneean bima kuntum ta'maloon
********************
Gluten-free, grain-free, cane sugar-free, optionally dairy-free.
********************
Bon appetit! Praise be to the Generous Bountiful Provider who offers us these nutritious and tasty foods from dumb plants, tasteless earth and ignorant water. Alhamdulillah (all praises belong to the One God)
